Corksy University: Video Training for Your Team

Corksy University (the Corksy Training Center) is our free library of short video tutorials. It covers how to set up and run your store in Corksy. Use it to learn a feature yourself, or to train new staff.

How do I get access?

Anyone on your team can sign themselves up. You don't need to contact Corksy.

  1. Go to university.corksy.io.
  2. Click Create Account and register with your name and email.
  3. Next time, just click Sign In.

Your Corksy University account is separate from your Corksy admin login.

What's covered?

Tutorials are grouped into seven sections:

  • Setup Guide: covers:
    • store information and logo
    • compliance
    • checkout and marketing consent
    • UPS
    • inventory locations
    • notification emails and policies
    • Mailchimp
    • admin and POS roles and users
  • Product Management: brands, collections, tags, products, bundles, online store and POS visibility, archiving, and inventory.
  • Club Management: covers:
    • club tiers and membership discounts
    • opening and processing packages
    • adding, pausing, switching and canceling members
    • failed payments
    • holds and updates
    • Customer Choice and Winemaker's Choice clubs
  • Order Management: covers:
    • creating, editing and refunding orders
    • changing an order from pickup to shipping
    • fulfilling pickup and UPS orders
    • multiple shipping labels on one order
    • draft orders
    • exporting picked-up vs. unpicked club orders
  • Shipping & Fulfillment: live carrier rates, shipping zones and rates, and fulfilling shipping orders.
  • Website Builder: club info, Mailchimp forms, Google tools, and blog authors.
  • Discounts: automatic discounts, manual discount codes, and how order, product and shipping discounts work.

Tips for training your team

  • New to Corksy? Start with the Setup Guide section. Use it alongside the written Corksy Setup Guide.
  • Onboarding new staff? Have each person create their own account. Then they can track their progress, mark videos as watched, and save notes and favorites.
  • Earn a certificate: anyone who completes every tutorial earns a Corksy University Certificate of Completion.
