Understanding Minimum and Default Quantity Settings
The customization options for wine packages are governed by two key settings:
Minimum Quantity: This is the lowest quantity that can be selected for an item in the package. For full customization, this can be set to 0, allowing members to completely unselect items if desired.
Default Quantity: This is the preselected quantity for an item when a member views the package. Default quantities can be used to guide selections while still allowing flexibility.
Common Issues and Their Resolutions
Issue: Members Cannot Fully Unselect Items
This issue arises when:
Each product in the package has a minimum quantity greater than 0.
The package has a required minimum total quantity. For example:
Each product has a minimum quantity of 1.
One product has a default quantity of 3.
The package requires a minimum total quantity of 3. In this scenario, members cannot reduce any item below 1, preventing full unselection.
Resolution
To enable full unselection while maintaining package requirements:
Set the minimum quantity for each product to 0.
Optionally, set default quantities to guide selections (e.g., default 1 with minimum 0).
Step-by-Step Guide to Adjust Backend Settings
