Can I credit two sales associates on one order?
Yes. A POS order can have up to two sales associates, and revenue and tips are split 50/50 between them. Assign the second associate during checkout:
Build the order on the POS. The associate ringing it up is the primary associate.
At checkout, add one additional sales associate (it can’t be the same person as the primary).
Complete the sale. Reporting (Sales by Associate, Tips by Associate) will split the credit evenly between the two.
With only one associate, that person gets 100% of the credit.
Can I change the sales associate after an order is placed?
Not from the order screen. Associates are assigned at checkout, and reassigning or changing the associate on an already-placed order isn’t a self-serve action. If an order was credited to the wrong person (or needs to be attached to a different associate), email [email protected] with the order number and the correct associate — the team can reassign it on the back end.
