How to Delete a Product

In this article, we’ll walk you through deleting a product, and touch briefly on ‘Soft Deleted’ products. 

Steps: 

1. Navigate to the ‘Products’ page on your Corksy site.
2. Click the Trash icon on the product you wish to delete.
3. Click ‘Yes’ to delete.

Soft Deleted Products 

Please note that if there have been previous sales of a product it will be soft deleted. This means the product will remain visible in order history, but you won't be able to create a duplicate with the same name in the future to avoid confusion. The purpose of soft deleting is to ensure accurate sales records for each product. 

If your product was deleted by mistake, it can be restored within a month. However, duplicate product names are still not permitted. Once a product is deleted, it will no longer appear on your screen, but it will be retained in the system backend.
