FedEx Account Connection Instructions

To seamlessly integrate your FedEx account with Corksy, we will need your FedEx Developer account number, API Key, and Secret Key. Below are the detailed steps to log in to or create your FedEx Developer Account and retrieve this information.

1. Log in to or create your FedEx Developer Account through the link provided: https://developer.fedex.com/api/en-us/project.html#/myprojects
   
   
2. Once you are in your FedEx Developer account, click on the "My Projects" tab.
   
   
3. From the My Projects tab, click "+ CREATE A PROJECT".
   
   
4. When prompted: "Tell us about your API needs" select:
   1. Ships with FedEx and is using a third-party software solution that has requested API keys
      
      
5. Fill out the fields for "Provide information about the third-party solution you are using" :  
   1. Third-party company: Corksy
   2. Third-party product: eCommerce
   3. Third-party product website: corksy.io
      
      
6. Select API(s) for your project
   1. Ship, Rate, & other APIs
      
      
7. Select the following APIs to enable:
   1. Address Validation API
   2. FedEx Locations Search API
   3. Open Ship API
   4. Rates and Transit Time API
   5. Service Availability API
   6. Ship API
      
      
8. Click "Next". Name your project "Corksy FedEx", select your country, and adjust the checkboxes as needed to reflect your business's shipping needs. 
   
   
9. Agree to terms and click "CREATE" to generate the API Key & Client Secret.
   
   
10. Click "Production Key".
    1. Use the account nickname "Corksy FedEx Production".
    2. Click "ADD SHIPPING ACCOUNT" and enter your FedEx account information and shipping address.
    3. Agree to the EULA agreement and submit.
       
       
11. Click on My Projects > Corksy FedEx > Production Key
    
    
12. Name the key "Corksy Production Key", select the Shipping Account, and click NEXT.
    
    
13. API Key & Client Secret will generate.
    
    
14. Go to your Corksy settings, click Shipping & Delivery, and "Connect Account" for FedEx.
    
    
15. Copy and Paste the API Key and Secret Key along with your account number. 
    
    
16. Click save.
