Setup Shipping & Tax Compliance

To set up Shipping and Tax Compliance, click the Setup Guide in the top right corner of your Corksy admin account & click on the Shipping Compliance tab. 

Or access this page from the Settings page in your Corksy admin account. 

Setting up Shipping Compliance

Corksy helps you manage your compliance with 2 different integration options or using manual compliance. By connecting to manual compliance, you understand that you must follow all local, state and federal laws.

• Manual compliance through Corksy
• Connect Avalara account 
• Connect SOVOS Ship Compliant account

Connect Manual Compliance

Choose the Manual Compliance option on your Shipping Compliance page.

This indicates that you own your own shipping, sales, and tax licenses. 

Connect Avalara account

Steps:

1. Go to Settings in your Corksy admin account.
2. Click on the Shipping Compliance tab.
3. Select your compliance partner.
4. If you select Avalara, fill out the required information:
   • Account/Username
   • Key/Password
   • Company
5. Click save. 

Connect SOVOS Ship Compliant account

Steps:

1. Go to Settings in your Corksy admin account.
2. Click on the Shipping Compliance tab.
3. Select your compliance partner.
4. If you select SOVOS, fill out the required information:
   • Username
   • Password
5. Click save.
