Deleting a product

You can delete or archive a product from the Products page in your Corksy navigation menu.

Delete a Product

Deleting a product record will permanently erase the product and all data associated with it. You will not be able to report on nor invoice for deleted data. Once something is deleted, it is completely erased from your records, and this record cannot be undone. Deletion is permanent. 

Steps:

1. Go to the Products page in your Corksy navigation menu.
2. Click on the trash icon in the row of the product you would like to delete.
   • Note: This action is permanent and cannot be undone. 
3. Confirm deleting the product from records.

Archive a Product

Archiving a product record will make the product inactive, while still preserving the record and all associated data. You will still be able to report on and invoice for archived data. 

Steps:

1. Go to the Products page in your Corksy navigation menu. 
2. Click the Archive button in the row of the Product you would like to archive. 
3. Confirm archiving the selected Product. 
   • This will hide the Product from your online store making it unavailable to purchase. 
4. Click save.
