The Reservations V2 Guest Booking Experience

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Knowing what your guests see helps your team answer questions and test your setup.

The booking steps

  1. Search. The guest picks a date or date range, party size and, optionally, a preferred time. Only experiences with matching availability are shown.
  2. Choose an experience and tickets. The guest picks ticket quantities and an available date and time. The calendar only shows times that fit their party size.
  3. Add extras. Optional upsells attached to the experience.
  4. Special requests. Allergies, dietary needs, accessibility, celebrations or other notes. These show on the reservation and in the Daily view.
  5. Checkout. The guest enters contact details and pays.
  6. Confirmation. A confirmation page and email with the reservation number, date, time, location, tickets and add-ons.

While a guest is checking out, their tickets are held for a short time. If they don't finish, the tickets are released.

Guests who'd rather not book online can call or email you, and your team can book for them from the admin portal (see Running the Day: Reservations V2 Daily Reservations).

Payment methods

  • Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay

UnionPay cards are not accepted. A guest using one will see a decline.

Apple Pay and Google Pay don't appear when the booking total is $0.

Two things to tell your guests

1. Members: sign in first. Club pricing is applied only when a member signs in to their account at checkout. Members who check out as a guest pay the public price, and a prompt at checkout invites them to log in for the member price. A member bringing friends makes one booking: the member price applies up to the experience's limit per member, and the other guests pay the regular price.

2. Apple Pay and Google Pay are not the last step. After approving the payment on their phone, the guest must finish their contact details and press Complete Booking. Until they do, no reservation is made and no confirmation is sent.

Where guests find their booking

Guests should keep their confirmation email. Reservations V2 bookings don't show in the guest's online customer account yet.

If a guest says they never got a confirmation, ask them to check spam and any company email filters. Corporate inboxes (for example, hotel concierge desks) sometimes block these emails.
