Packages inside bookings help set the times and dates that can be offered as individual items (tastings, events, etc), before having them available on the website, the following will show you how this is setup in the Corksy Admin Portal.
Go to Bookings (formerly known as Wine Tasting) in the Admin Portal and in the top right click on the "Create Package" button, this will start the creation of the package.
In the General information, which is the first of three sections, we'll fill out the following:
Name (required). Here you will give the package a name, concert name? tasting? experience? your pick here.
Short Description (required). Have a small description of what they'll be doing and enjoying during the booked time, does have a max of 300 characters.
Long Description. Not needed but here you can add a more in depth description if you needed more than the 300 characters.
Add Main Image (required). Here you will add the picture that will display on the website for the event.
Schedule Period. This will be the start and end date of the package, this can be tastings that happen every day for years, a single day event, or a series.
Once you've entered all the information, click on Continue to move to the Slot Planning section where we'll have the ticketing created for the package.
In this section we'll be selecting the option to configure the slot size (can be Maximum guests or Number of tables and seats per table).
When building it as "Maximum guests, you're going to be creating slots as they do for movie theaters or concerts, one venue, a timeframe, and maximum number of tickets available for that timeframe, like in theater where you have 2-3 events the same day, doing this you need to fill out the day of the week and the slots needed on each day as well as the capacity of the event per slot, like this image:
If you're looking to create slots with tables, then you can select the Number of tables and seats per table, not only guests, you'll still do the slot start and end times here as seen below.
Once you've finished the days of the week that you will have the events, you can click on Continue and move to the last section, Booking Settings.
We'll start with the number of days before the event that this can start being sold to the public which is required.
After we'll be answering a few questions regarding cancellation, is it allowed? how many days, which neither is needed.
If cancellations are accepted, you can set a cancellation fee (required) as well.
Then we need to have a minimum of guests (required) and a maximum if desired.
Last option would be how much you would be charging (if any, but required) and then the last two checkboxes are:
Allow same day booking
Enable tax for this event
After Saving you should have this ready to sell.
