POS Overview

A guided tour of the Corksy POS screen and what each button and section does.

  1. Menu
    This section allows you to go to the different parts of the POS, Home, Sell, Products, Customers, Settings, and Reports

  2. Help Center
    Link to the documentation page

  3. Connection Status
    Shows if it's connected on WiFi or Cellular marked with a green or red button

  4. Admin User
    Account Logged in at the beginning

  5. Search Bar
    Allows to search for specific products, by SKU or name of the product

  6. Scan
    If you're using a scanner, this is the button to start scanning

  7. Clear Cart
    Removes the customer and products from the cart, abandoning the order

  8. Retrieve Cart
    Shows the list of pending carts to bring it back into view to continue

  9. More Actions
    This will have more actions for the order, like Ship items or override pricing)

  10. Filters
    These filters will help parse through the products that are displayed, either by Collections and/or by Product Type

  11. Products
    Tiles showing the different products to be able to tap on them to add to the cart

  12. Customer Search
    Here you can search or add a new customer to the system for the order that is being created

  13. Customer Slide out
    Brings the customer's information from the side, allowing you to manage the customer easily and modifying/adding/editing their information

  14. Current order
    Any SKU added to the cart will show here with price and discount if applicable. There are also a few buttons here that help navigate the orders of the system, here's what each does:

    1. Edit Note
      Can add/edit the note on the order

    2. New Cart
      Start a new order, placing the current in the pending orders

    3. Pre Auth
      Starts a tab for the customer, preauthorizing the credit card allowing the order to be charged without card at the end

    4. Discount
      List of POS promotions that can be applied to the order

    5. Promo Code
      Ability to add a promotional code to the order

  15. Order Calculations
    Here you can see the subtotal of the order and the extras, like discounts, taxes, etc. You are able to disable discounts and remove tax if required in the order.

  16. Payment Buttons
    Pay will allow you to do a one time payment for the order, while the Split button will allow to pay with multiple methods the same order
