Examples - Customer Choice and Wine Maker Choice Packages

Worked examples for setting up Customer Choice and Winemaker's Choice wine club packages, including minimum/maximum bottle settings.

Looking to set up a wine club shipment but not sure where to start? Choose between the two setup options — Customer Choice and Winemaker’s Choice — and fulfill wine club orders within your Corksy portal. See Create a new club order to get started.

Example: Customer Choice (Customer Select) package

Example: As a winery, I want to create a shipment for my 3-bottle tier club. I want to require customers to take 1 bottle of Chardonnay and allow the other 2 bottles to be the customer’s choice.

  1. Require the customer to select 3 bottles for checkout.

  2. Choose a future close date so new members can still receive this shipment (for example, open the package from Jan 1 through Apr 1).

  3. Create the order parameters:

    • Create the default order.

    • Set the minimum quantity for the Chardonnay to 1 bottle.

    • Maximum quantity — the maximum number of bottles a customer can purchase. Do not enter 0 if there is no maximum — that makes the product unshoppable. If there is no maximum, enter 100 or more.

Example: Winemaker’s Choice package

Example: As a winery, I want to create a shipment for my summer wine club release. I want to require customers to take 2 bottles of each of my new wines.

  1. Choose a future close date so new members can still receive this shipment (for example, open the package from Jan 1 through Apr 1).

  2. Create the order parameters.

  3. Orders will not be customizable. You can process and fulfill the order before the close date if desired.
