Batching out closes the current batch on your card terminal so the day’s transactions settle and deposit. Most Corksy terminals settle automatically each day, so manual batching is usually only needed if support asks you to, or if you want to force settlement at close.
Not sure which payment app you have? See Using Your PAX Device: Corksy Go vs. PEPay.
PayEngine / PEPay app (most common)
If you’re on the PEPay (PayEngine) app — the current standard — batching is one tap:
Open the PEPay app on your terminal (it’s pre-launched and locked to the screen).
Tap Close Current Batch.
That’s it — your batch is closed. If you don’t see a Close Current Batch option, your terminal is set to settle automatically and no action is needed.
Legacy Elavon app
Only some older terminals still run the Elavon app. If that’s you, first check which version you have by its icon, then follow the matching steps. You’ll need the terminal admin password — try pax9876@@, corksy, or today’s date in MMDDYYYY format (if a date doesn’t work, try yesterday’s or tomorrow’s in case of a timezone difference).
Elavon 118
Launch the Elavon app.
Tap the settings icon in the upper-right corner.
Enter the admin password if prompted.
Tap Host Settings → Batch Close.
Elavon 202
Launch the Elavon app.
Tap all four corners of the screen, starting at the upper-left and moving clockwise.
Enter the admin password if prompted.
Tap Host Settings → Batch Close.
After batching on the Elavon app, re-launch your Corksy payment app (Corksy Go or PEPay) before taking more payments.
