Enabling or Disabling Notifications
You can enable or disable many of the available notifications in your Corksy admin portal.
From your Corksy admin portal, go to Settings → Notifications.
Use the toggles to enable or disable specific notifications based on your needs.
Admin (winery) notifications can't currently be turned off. The per-order emails your team receives each time an order is processed — for both wine club and eCommerce orders — cannot currently be disabled. This is a known limitation and an open feature request. As a workaround, set up a filter in your email inbox so these notifications are automatically marked as read, moved to a folder, or deleted based on your preference.
Which address receives admin notifications
The email address that receives your winery's admin notifications is set in your Store Settings — you can change which address they go to there. If admin notifications are reaching the wrong inbox, update the store/notification email in Settings.
Note: Routing different notification types to different addresses (a separate recipient per notification) isn't supported today — there's one admin recipient — but you can change what that address is. POS order notifications are a separate exception: see the callout under Order notifications below.
Customizing Individual Notifications
From Settings → Notifications, click a notification's name to edit its store logo, banner, subject line, body content, and footer. For the full walkthrough — and the correct merge-tag syntax to use — see Customizing Wine Club Email Notifications (the same editor applies to eCommerce and reservation notifications).
Notification Reference
These emails send automatically based on actions on your site — no extra setup required. Notifications go to your customers and/or your winery (admin) depending on the event.
Order notifications
Order Placed — customer selects shipping and the card is successfully charged. Sends after the compliance check passes (quarantine-order handling applies).
Pickup Order Placed — customer selects pickup and the card is successfully charged. Sends after the compliance check passes.
POS Order — a POS pickup order is placed with no shipping information (POS pickup orders only).
POS Split Order — a POS order is placed with the Split Order option selected.
Ship through POS — a POS shipping order is placed with a customer on file or an email provided at checkout.
Edit Order — an order is edited (item added, refund, address update, etc.).
Order Cancel — a shipping order is refunded.
Pickup Order Cancel — a pickup order is refunded.
POS order notifications aren't sent to the admin email yet. Even with the notification enabled, POS Order, POS Split Order, and Ship through POS notifications are not currently delivered to the store admin email — the setting is present but the admin-delivery portion for POS orders has not been implemented. This is a known limitation. Customer-facing versions and non-POS order notifications are unaffected.
Fulfillment notifications
Order Fulfilled via External Postage — winery fulfills an order by manually adding a carrier and tracking number (outside the FedEx/UPS/GLS integration).
Order Fulfilled via Direct Carrier Postage — winery changes a shipping order from Unfulfilled → Fulfilled, or tracking is purchased through Corksy.
Order Fulfilled via Store Pickup — winery changes a pickup order from Unfulfilled → Fulfilled. Applies to online, manual, and wine club pickup orders; POS pickup orders are marked fulfilled automatically.
Customer account notifications
Customer Sign Up — customer tries to log in without an existing account, or is created manually in the admin portal (website/admin only).
POS Welcome — a new customer is created on the POS (used instead of Customer Sign Up for POS-created customers).
Wine club notifications
Club Membership Join — after any wine club signup, online or manually added.
Club Membership Cancelled — winery cancels a member.
Club Membership Paused — a membership is paused.
Club Membership Resumed — a membership is resumed.
Club Membership Switched — a customer or winery changes a member's wine club type.
Club Package Opened (Customer Choice) — winery clicks OPEN on a Customer Choice package, making it visible to members. Triggered by clicking OPEN, not when the package is drafted.
Club Selection Reminder — sent to members 48 hours after the winery clicks OPEN on the package.
Club Selection Confirmation (Customer Choice) — sent once a member makes their selections. Members can update selections as often as needed until the order is processed.
Winemaker Choice Package Opened — winery clicks OPEN on a Winemaker's Choice package; sends to pickup and shipping customers.

Other notifications
Forgot Password and Password Reset Confirmation (customer and admin versions).
Inventory Alert — low-stock alerts (wine club, product subscription, and general product variants).
Product Review — review request sent to a customer after an order.

Notification Events on a Customer Profile
When viewing a customer's profile in Corksy, you'll see a Notification Events section that logs emails sent to that customer.
What's included: only transactional emails sent directly by Corksy — order confirmations, wine club package notifications, reservation confirmations, and password resets.
What's NOT included: bulk marketing emails sent from the Corksy platform, and emails sent through third-party marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.). If a customer says they didn't receive a marketing or bulk email, check your external marketing platform — the log only records Corksy-triggered transactional emails.
