Corksy doesn’t send marketing emails directly — instead, you build audience segments in Corksy and send them to MailChimp, where you create and send the actual campaign.
Which version are you on? The steps below describe Classic segmentation (the “Segmentation” area with predefined options and a manual send). If your account shows a Beta sticker labeled “Segmentation and Email Marketing,” you’re on the newer version — segments can auto-sync and you can send campaigns inside Corksy. See Sending Corksy Segments to Klaviyo & Mailchimp (Classic vs. Dynamic).
1. Connect your MailChimp account to Corksy
In the Corksy Admin Portal, go to Settings > Email Marketing > Connect Account.
Copy the provided Redirect URI and paste it into your MailChimp account.
Generate a Client ID and Client Secret in MailChimp, then enter them into Corksy.
Save and authorize the integration by logging into your MailChimp account.

2. Create audience segments in Corksy
Go to the Marketing tab and click Create Segment.
Select the segment type you’d like to use — for example, successful purchases, abandoned carts, or all customers.
Save the segment.
3. Send the segment to MailChimp
Open the segment and click Actions > Send.
Select MailChimp and assign a tag name so it’s easy to identify on the MailChimp side.
Save to send the segment to MailChimp.
4. Create your campaign in MailChimp
In MailChimp, confirm the segment under Audience > Tags.
From there, create and design your email campaign using the imported segment as your recipient list.
This send is a one-time push (a snapshot). If the audience changes later, send the segment again to update it in MailChimp. On the newer version, dynamic segments update automatically — see Segmentation in Corksy.
