To create, manage, or delete discounts, click Discounts in your Corksy navigation menu. Corksy offers flexible promotions — you can automate specials or require a promo code, target customers by club, tag, or class, set usage limits and active dates, and control how discounts combine.
In this article we will review how to edit an existing discount.
Edit a discount
Go to Discounts in your Corksy navigation menu.
From the Discounts page, click the pencil icon of the discount you would like to edit.
From the individual discount page, you can edit fields such as:
Discount Name and Internal Description
Scope (Order, Products, or Shipping) and discount amount
Inclusions and exclusions
Eligibility (customers, clubs, tags, classes)
Sales channel controls
Minimum requirements
Usage limits
Active dates and start/end times
Once you have completed your edits, click Save.
Moving a start date back to today
If a discount was created with a future start date, you can now edit that start date back to today to activate it immediately. Previously the system blocked moving a future start date to an earlier date; that restriction has been removed.
Editing a discount on an existing order
When an order is edited — adding or removing items, changing quantities, changing the shipping method, or applying/removing a promo code — discounts are fully re-evaluated from scratch. The previous outcome is not preserved, so a different discount or stacking set may apply after the edit. If a discount changes or disappears after an order edit, this is expected behavior.
