Finding Order & Fulfillment Reports (Unfulfilled, Pending Pickup, Tracking, Compliance)
Last updated: October 19, 2026
This article answers the most common “which report shows …?” questions for orders and fulfillment. For general reporting tips (exports, time filters, sales by associate), see Reporting Tips.
How do I find unfulfilled orders?
Go to Reports → Sales by Order.
Set Fulfillment Status to Unfulfilled (and optionally add a date range).
Click Export (top right) to download an XLSX you can sort and filter.
The Fulfillment Status column appears in the Sales by Order report (not every report), alongside Order Number and Order Date.
The Unfulfilled Orders & SKUs report under Reports → Inventory includes orders migrated from your previous system, so older open orders show up there too.
How do I find orders that are sold but not yet fulfilled / pending pickup?
Use the same Sales by Order report: set your date range and filter Fulfillment Status to Unfulfilled (paid, not yet shipped or picked up) or Partially fulfilled (some items still to fulfill).
For a stock-side view, the Pending Fulfillment report under Reports → Inventory shows committed stock waiting to ship or be picked up, grouped by how old the order is.
Important: The standard Sales by Order Export is order-level. It shows the order and its fulfillment status, but not the individual products/wines inside each order. For items, use Export by SKU or the Orders export described in the next section.
How do I see the actual products/wines inside unfulfilled orders?
Export from the Orders page:
Go to Orders.
Filter to Unfulfilled (and optionally by date).
Click Export to download a file that includes the order’s items.
You can also use Sales by Order → Export by SKU with the Unfulfilled filter for one row per item.
Which report includes tracking numbers?
See Finding Tracking Numbers for Shipped Orders — the Sales By Order (Export by SKU) report includes tracking, and you can also find it on each order’s Fulfillment section.
How do I find orders with a particular shipping method?
There's no filter for shipping method. Go to Reports → Sales → Sales by Order, set your date range and click Export Compliance Report. In the file, filter the CARRIER_CODE column for the carrier service you want, for example values containing "2Day". It shows the carrier service the order shipped with, not the name of the shipping option the customer picked at checkout.
Where is my shipping compliance report?
Go to Settings → Shipping & Tax Compliance — this is where your compliance provider (Avalara or SOVOS/ShipCompliant) is connected, and where compliance files/reports for excise taxes and shipments are generated. For a file of your orders for compliance (one row per wine in each shipped order, with the buyer (BUYER_ columns), the ship-to recipient and address (DIST_ columns), the number of bottles (CONTAINERS), PRICE_PER_BOTTLE, PRICE_SALES_TAX, PRICE_SHIPPING, CARRIER_CODE and TRACKING_NUMBER), go to Reports → Sales → Sales by Order and click Export Compliance Report. If you use a connected provider, some reports are also available directly in that provider’s portal after logging in. If shipments aren’t appearing, see ShipCompliant Sync Issues.
To see shipments to one state, filter the DIST_STATE column. Only orders marked as shipped appear, and the date range picks orders by order date, so an order placed in September and shipped in October appears in a September range. PRICE_SALES_TAX is the tax on the wine; tax charged on shipping isn't included, so it can be lower than the order's total tax.
A note on inventory reports
Inventory reports and exports (Reports → Inventory, or Products → Inventory) are current snapshots only. They reflect stock right now and don’t show historical inventory levels, even if you change the date range. For what each inventory report shows, see Export Inventory Reports.
